Amazing Grace: The Movie

I don’t go to the movie theatre often. I like to wait for movies that I think will be worth the price and the experience. One movie that is being talked about alot that I am looking forward to is Amazing Grace. It the story of William Wilberforce and his efforts to bring about an end to slavery in the British Empire. John Newton, who wrote the song Amazing Grace, was one of the men that influenced Wilberforce. It is coming out in the United States on Feb. 23. It sounds like it should be an interesting and inspiring movie from what I’ve heard, but I read a comment on the forum that it won’t be in Canada until March. I guess I’ll have to wait, or do you have any other information?

I’m looking forward to the DVD coming out as well. The website for the movie, check link above, says that the US release date will be on Nov. 13, 2007. Though the UK site seems to indicate that it is available there if you are in that country.
